

Arcadia Home Care provides both Intermittent and Continuous Care skilled services.
Intermittent Home Health provides short-term nursing or therapy visits prescribed by your physician. Care can be arranged for anyone who desires to receive care at home, from newborns to seniors.
Home Health Care helps transition you back to health in the comfort and security of your own home following a hospitalization or discharge from a skilled nursing facility.
Intermittent Home Health Care are home visits, typically less than an hour and a half and are performed by a Nurse or Therapist in your home to complete a clinical procedure or to guide you through a therapy session. Care must be medically necessary and involve the services of a licensed professional.

Once the nurse or therapist has completed their comprehensive evaluation, a plan of care will be developed establishing which services are medically necessary, their frequency and duration and approved by your physician.
Medically necessary home health care is a Medicare benefit and is covered by most private insurance companies.
Continuous Care Skilled Nursing is often referred to as shift care. Registered Nurses and Licensed Vocational Nurses are able to provide one to one specialized care to those that are:
Continuous Care Skilled Nursing is not covered by Medicare. Private Insurance, Private Pay and Medi-Cal are typical forms of payment.
